As you may remember, last fall I applied for an interim appointment to the vacant seat in Trustee District 4 of the West Valley Mission Community College District. To the surprise of many, as the more qualified candidate, I did not prevail. That isn’t, however, stopping me from running for that seat this November.
You supported me last fall by endorsing me and as I complete the last minute touches before launching my campaign site, I want to ensure that endorsement stands. If I don’t hear from you, I will take that as a yes, and take it gratefully. And if it’s still a yes, please feel free to direct people my way who can help or who you think I should be in contact with.
They say endorsements don’t win elections, but I don’t believe that. I’ve also found that who endorses me matters to me. Knowing I have your support tells me I’m on the right track.
So, thanks for your support in the past and I hope I have your support moving forward. I’m eager to take my seat and serve my community.
